Should nuclear and/or CCS part of a sustainable climate change strategy?

Director General of the Commission's Transport and Energy directorate, Matthias Ruete, has declared that Europe's ability to avoid climate change is dependant not only on renewables, but also depends on nuclear energy and carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) technology.
